Jasmine Rose Oberste, L.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, and professor of Chinese medicine. Jasmine co-founded the non-profit project Chinese Herb Garden, which promotes the sustainable use of Asian medicinal flora. Her writing and photography of medicinal herbs have appeared in HerbalGram, Qi Journal and the California Journal of Oriental Medicine. An alum of the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM), she is currently teaching at the Academy for Chinese Culture and Health Sciences (ACCHS) in Oakland California. Bria Larson co-founded the Chinese Herb Garden project. She is currently a student of Chinese Medicine and the Development Director at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco. She has a back ground in grant writing and outdoor education.
Kil-Young (Ky) Yu, L.Ac. graduated from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, CA. Ky co-founded Oakland Community Acupuncture, offering a low-fee acupuncture clinic for those people who earn less than $20K per year. Wingcho Fung is studying Chinese medicine at the American College of Chinese Medicine. He has a background as an engineer and is working with the project to create interactive maps tracking growing regions of medicinal flora.
